The coach page: the one habit to fix next, an honest picture of recent games, and today's training
The problem
Generic puzzles train patterns you may never see. A real coach looks at your games and tells you the one habit that keeps costing you. Most club players can't afford one.
What it does
It imports games from Lichess and Chess.com, runs the Stockfish engine on every move in the browser, tags each mistake (a hung piece, an allowed fork, a missed mate, time trouble), and builds a weakness profile with the top three things to fix.
Training comes from your own games: replay the moment it went wrong, find the move you missed, convert a winning position or hold a draw. Positions come back on a spaced schedule until you solve them cleanly twice.
Designed from how people learn
Training rules came from research on how people actually improve: think before the engine shows anything, review your own game blind first, answer "why did you play that?" after each error, and only drill positions that were still playable. Success is measured in real games, not drill scores.
Claude as the coach
The app exports its analysis, and Claude reads it and writes lessons and a weekly plan back into the app in a fixed format.
